In a coastal farming area of Baja Sur, the village of El Pescadero sits on the Pacific Ocean about an hour north of Los Cabos. It is a humble community made up of Rancheros and fishermen with ancestry that dates back to pre-Columbian civilization. The people of El Pescadero and the surrounding settlements in the backcountry are strong and close-knit, but some live in extreme poverty with lack access to basic necessities.
Grupo Mother Teresa BCS serves everyone that reaches out to them or is referred to them regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or position in life.
Volunteers with the organization often times ride deep into the back country to make sure that people living there have what they need to survive.
